The horizon of Funtastik glowed with an eerie, neon luminescence on the evening of October 31st, 2026. It was the grandest Halloween celebration the world had ever seen. At the heart of the park stood the Obsidian Spire, a towering castle of black glass and jagged stone that seemed to pierce the very moon. Among the crowd were seven inseparable friends: Diego, Mauro, Gabriel, Amir, Xosé, and Sandra. They weren’t alone, however; they were accompanied by three legendary figures who had joined the festivities—Flash, Batman, and the Incredible Hulk.
Flash was in high spirits, his red suit shimmering under the flickering jack-o'-lantern lights. 'I bet I can reach the castle gates before you guys even blink!' he shouted, his voice vibrating with kinetic energy. Without waiting for a response, he became a blur of scarlet light. But Funtastik was a land of magic and unpredictability. As Flash sped across the cobblestone bridge, a patch of enchanted, slippery mist settled over the stones. His boots lost traction, and with a thunderous crack, he tumbled. He skidded across the bridge, his momentum carrying him dangerously close to the edge.
'Flash!' Sandra screamed, her yellow jacket a bright beacon as she ran toward him. The group huddled around the fallen hero. Flash was clutching his leg, his face contorted in pain. He had nearly broken his ankle, saved only by his superhuman durability. 'I’m okay,' he winced, 'but I can’t run. Not for a while.'
The injury cast a dark shadow over the group. As they entered the castle’s courtyard, frustration began to boil over. Batman, ever the tactician, wanted to move slowly and scout for traps. Hulk, however, was impatient. 'Hulk smash doors! No waiting!' the green giant bellowed, his voice echoing off the obsidian walls.

Diego and Mauro sided with Batman, preferring a cautious approach, while Gabriel, Amir, and Xosé were swept up in Hulk’s enthusiasm. Sandra tried to mediate, but the stress of the night and Flash’s injury had frayed everyone’s nerves. A heated argument broke out—a 'fight' of words and egos that felt more damaging than any physical blow. They argued about leadership, about the accident on the bridge, and about who was truly brave enough to face the Spire’s mysteries.
Suddenly, the castle’s heavy iron portcullis slammed shut, trapping them in the courtyard. From the shadows, mechanical gargoyles began to descend, their eyes glowing with a sinister purple light. The petty arguments vanished instantly.
'We can’t do this alone!' Xosé shouted, ducking behind a stone pillar.
Batman threw a smoke pellet, creating a diversion. 'Listen to me! Hulk, you are our shield. Flash, even if you can’t run, we need your fast reflexes to spot the gargoyles' patterns. Kids, you know this park better than anyone. Find the release mechanism for that gate!'

Inspired by Batman’s clarity, the group snapped into action. Hulk leaped into the air, swatting the mechanical beasts away with his massive green fists, protecting Flash and the children. Sandra and Gabriel noticed a series of glowing runes near the gate that matched the symbols on their souvenir maps. They realized the 'fight' they had earlier was exactly what the castle wanted—it fed on discord.
'We have to work together!' Amir called out, helping Flash lean against a wall so the hero could use his vibrations to shake the gargoyles' internal gears. Diego and Mauro used their flashlights to signal the weak points in the gargoyles' armor to Batman.
By combining Hulk’s raw power, Batman’s strategy, Flash’s quick thinking, and the kids' observational skills, they managed to solve the castle's riddle. Sandra pressed the final rune, and the portcullis groaned open. The gargoyles froze, their purple eyes fading to black.
Exhausted but safe, the group stood together in the quiet of the October night. Flash looked at his friends, his pride replaced by gratitude. 'I’m sorry I rushed ahead,' he admitted. 'And I’m sorry we fought.'
Hulk patted Flash gently on the shoulder, nearly knocking him over again. 'Friends better than fighting,' he grunted with a rare smile.
As the clock struck midnight, the group walked out of Funtastik hand-in-hand. They hadn't just survived a haunted castle; they had learned that the strongest force in the universe wasn't super-speed or gamma-strength—it was the unbreakable bond of friendship. The Obsidian Spire remained behind them, a silent monument to the night they became a true team.
