He was practicing his super-speed, trying to break his own record for the fastest lap around the Daily Planet building. Suddenly, a booming voice echoed, "Flash! Hold it right there!" Superman, the Man of Steel, landed gracefully beside him, his cape billowing slightly in the breeze.
"Superman! Whats up?" Flash asked, slowing down just enough to chat. He was a little out of breath.
"Theres a misunderstanding," Superman explained. "Lex Luthor has tricked everyone into believing you stole the worlds biggest lollipop!"
Flash gasped. He loved lollipops, but he certainly hadnt stolen one, especially not a giant one! "Id never!" he exclaimed.
They decided to work together. Supermans super-strength could lift heavy objects, while Flashs super-speed could get them places quickly. They raced to Lex Luthors lair, Flash zipping through traffic, Superman soaring above the skyscrapers.
They found Lex Luthor surrounded by giant lollipops, a mischievous grin on his face. Hed used his shrink ray to make the lollipops tiny, then blamed Flash! Superman easily captured Lex, and Flash, with his super-speed, quickly returned all the lollipops to their normal size. The city cheered as the misunderstanding was cleared up, and Flash and Superman shared a giant lollipop, celebrating their teamwork and the power of friendship.
