Coco lived in a big tree with his friends. The tree was on a farm. Page 2 Every day, the sun was warm. The rain helped Coco grow big and strong. Coco lived in a pod with other beans. "I want to go out and see!" said Coco. Page 3 One day, a man came to pick the pods. "Time to come out!" said the man. Coco and his friends came out of the pod. They got into a big box. Page 4 The man put all the beans on big mats outside. "Look! We are in the sun!" said Coco. The hot sun dried the beans for many days. "I feel dry now," said Coco. "But I smell good!" The sun made Coco turn brown. Page 5 After drying in the sun, Coco got a bath. "Splash!" The water was warm and clean. "I am clean now!" said Coco happily. All the dirt went away. Page 6 Then Coco went in a hot oven. "Its hot!" said Coco. The heat made him smell sweet. "I smell like chocolate!" said Coco. Page 7 Next, a machine made Coco very small. "Im getting tiny!" laughed Coco. Soon Coco became soft like butter. "Im smooth now!" said Coco. Page 8 Coco mixed with milk and sugar. "Hello friends!" said Coco. They all mixed together. "We taste good together!" they said. Page 9 "Look! I am chocolate now!" said Coco. He was brown and sweet. Coco went into a mold to make a bar. "Im ready!" said Coco. Page 10 Coco went to the shop in a pretty box. A little girl saw him. "Mom, can I have this?" asked the girl. "Yes!" said Mom. Page 11 The girl opened the box at home. She took a little bite. "Yummy!" said the girl with a big smile. Coco was happy. Page 12 "I made her smile!" thought Coco. From a little bean to yummy chocolate. What a big trip!
