El Duende del Bosque Encantado
The Forest Sprite
Once upon a time, there was a sprite named Tito who lived in the enchanted forest. One day, three students from the city decided to go on a trip to the forest and discovered Tito hiding behind a tree.
2- ¡Miren!
-Look! A sprite! - exclaimed one of the students excitedly. Tito was scared at first, but then he realized that the students didn't want to hurt him.
- Me gusta mucho vivir aquí -dijo Tito-.
The young people began talking to him and asked him about his life in the forest. - I really like living here - said Tito. - But sometimes I feel lonely because no one comes to visit me. The students felt a lot of compassion for the sprite and promised to come back to spend time with him.
And they did. Every weekend, the three friends went to the forest to play with Tito and learn more about his magical world. But one day, when they arrived at the forest, they found everything dark and desolate.
There was no trace of the little sprite or any other magical being in the place. - What has happened here? - asked one of the worried students. It was then that they heard a wicked laugh coming from the back of the forest.
With courage, they decided to investigate what was happening and ventured into the darkness. Finally, they arrived at a cave where they found Tito trapped by a wicked troll named Grunty.
¡No te permitiremos hacerle daño!
- Let him go! - shouted one of the students while taking out his school backpack as a defensive weapon. - We will not allow you to hurt him! Grunty laughed with contempt and began running toward them. But the students did not back down. They bravely fought against the troll and finally managed to defeat him.
They freed Tito from captivity and took him back to the enchanted forest, where all the magical beings received them with joy and gratitude.
From that day forward, Tito never felt lonely again thanks to the friendship he had formed with the three students. And they learned that courage and friendship can overcome any obstacle.
