Once upon a time, in a green and grassy valley, there lived three little pigs named Pippin, Pippa, and Pip. They were very clever and hardworking, and one day they decided to build their own homes. Pippin, the youngest, wanted to build a house quickly so he used straws. He gathered them from the fields and stacked them high. Pippa, the middle pig, thought straws were too flimsy, so she built her house with sticks. She gathered them from the forest and tied them together with vines. Pip, the oldest and wisest, knew that the wind could blow sticks and straws away, so he built his house with bricks. He worked day and night, laying each brick carefully with the help of a friendly rabbit named Rosie.
One evening, a big bad wolf came sniffing around the valley. He smelled the pigs and asked, "Where are the little pigs?" Pippin answered from his straw house, "We are building houses, thank you." The wolf sneered and said, "I’ll blow your house down!" With a mighty huff, he blew the straw house to pieces. Pippin ran as fast as his little legs would carry him to his brother’s stick house.
The wolf followed, and when he reached the stick house, he said, "Where are the little pigs?" Pippa called out, "We’re safe here." The wolf laughed and blew again. The stick house creaked and swayed, then collapsed with a crash. Pippa ran to her brother’s brick house, where Pip and Rosie were waiting. "You’re safe now," said Pip, patting her on the head.
The wolf arrived at the brick house and growled, "I’ll blow your house down too!" Pip said, "You can try, but I built it strong." The wolf huffed and puffed, but the bricks held firm. He tried again and again, but the house didn’t budge. Frustrated, the wolf gave up and said, "I can’t blow down a brick house! I’ll just go away." He huffed and stomped off into the forest.
The three little pigs celebrated with Rosie, making a big feast of berries and honey. They sang songs and danced in the moonlight, safe and happy in their strong brick house. The wolf, feeling lonely, decided to go home and think of a better way to be kind. He never hurt anyone again.
From that day on, the three little pigs lived in peace, knowing that hard work and cleverness could protect them from any trouble. They shared their house with Rosie, and every night they would curl up together, listening to the rustle of the trees and the whisper of the wind. They knew they had each other, and that made them the happiest pigs in the valley.
And so, the three little pigs learned a very important lesson: when you work hard and build something strong, you can face any challenge and stay safe.
