One night, when the stars blinked themselves to sleep and the moon hung high like a silver lantern, a soft rustle echoed through the whispering trees. The animals of the forest had gathered around a mossy stump, their eyes wide with wonder. At the center sat Old Bramble, a kind old storyteller with a voice like wind-chimes and a cloak woven from twilight. 'Tonight,' he said, 'we shall travel to lands where tales are born under the stars, and where kindness lights the way.'
The animals leaned in, their breaths held. 'Long ago,' Bramble began, 'there was a village where stories were forgotten. No one laughed, no one dreamed, and the heart of the village grew cold. But a clever girl named Lila, with a voice like honey and a heart like a drum, found an old book of tales. She read them aloud by the fire, and the village awoke from its slumber. Laughter returned, dreams bloomed, and the heart of the village beat again.'
A squirrel blinked. 'But what if someone doesn't believe in stories?' he asked. Bramble smiled. 'Then you must tell them one. Stories are like seeds. Plant them, and they grow into forests of joy.' The animals nodded, their eyes gleaming. 'And if the tale is true?' asked a little rabbit. 'Then it will be remembered,' Bramble said, and with that, he began to sing, his voice rising like a lullaby to the stars.
The forest grew quiet, the wind soft, and the moonlight shimmered like silver thread. As the animals drifted off to sleep, their dreams filled with tales of bravery, love, and kindness, Old Bramble chuckled to himself. 'Stories are never lost,' he whispered. 'They only wait to be told again.' And with that, he vanished into the night, leaving only the sound of his voice and the glow of the moon.
