Once upon a time, in a quiet valley where the grass was as green as emerald and the sky was as blue as a baby’s eyes, lived three little pigs named Pippin, Pipper, and Pippa. They were clever, curious, and full of dreams, but they also knew that the forest was home to a big, gentle monster named Monty, who snored so loudly he could rattle the stars from the sky. One morning, the pigs decided it was time to build their own homes, safe from the rumble of Monty’s snoring.
Pippin, the youngest, was in a hurry. With a basket of straw and a pair of tiny pitchforks, he raced to the forest and built a cozy straw house in no time. He blew a tiny trumpet and called out, 'I’m ready! I’m safe! I’m ready for bed!' But that night, the ground trembled, and Monty’s rumble echoed through the valley. Pippin’s straw house wobbled, then collapsed with a soft *thud*. Pippin tumbled out, wide-eyed, and ran to his brothers.
Pipper, the middle pig, was more careful. He gathered sticks and logs and built a sturdy stick house, complete with a thatched roof and a little garden of daisies. 'This will protect me from Monty’s snores,' he said proudly. But that night, Monty’s snore shook the forest again. The stick house trembled, then creaked and fell with a *crash*. Pipper gasped, then ran to his sister’s house.
Pippa, the oldest and wisest, had been thinking. She gathered bricks and stones, and with help from her brothers, she built the strongest house of all. It had a red roof, a wooden porch, and even a little window where she could wave to the stars. 'This house will stand forever,' she said with a smile. That night, Monty’s snore came again, louder than ever. The ground shook, but Pippa’s brick house stood firm, not even a pebble out of place.
The next morning, Monty came to visit. He was not a scary monster, but a kind, sleepy giant who had been hiding in the forest for years. He had a gentle smile and a soft voice. 'I didn’t mean to scare you,' he said, 'I just snore very loudly. I didn’t know anyone lived so close.' The pigs giggled and offered him a warm cup of tea and a cozy blanket. From that day on, Monty visited every night, and the pigs would sing him lullabies until he fell asleep with a gentle *snore*.
The three little pigs learned that building strong homes was not just about bricks and sticks—it was about working together, being kind, and helping others. And Monty learned that sometimes, the loudest noise can be the friendliest of all.
As the moon rose high and the stars blinked gently, the pigs curled up in their warm, safe house, listening to Monty’s soft snoring. They whispered, 'Goodnight, Monty. Goodnight, world.' And with that, they fell asleep, dreaming of straw, sticks, and bricks, and the gentle giant who had become their friend.
